cheers dude.

If you were to fit this, do you need any other parts to accomodate it? ie - does it put any more stress anywhere on the engine etc? Vw warranty still valid with this?

Do you need the valve or would the Froge spacer give the same effect?

The only thing is VAG turbo's are designed to run a fully recirculating valve, i think with the blow off valves they are a bit hit and miss, they work on some cars and not on others. For improving performance, go for a vacuum valve like scott.

As with anything aftermarket, if the part is found to be responsible for a failure VW might not pay out for it.

just looking for the sound rather than performance. I dont know the difference between a valve and forge spacer.. :crazy:

This one is volume adjustable, you can get a more simple version too..Speak to Andy @ Awesome gti, hr'll fill you in...

I would get them to fit it too....

I'm not sure if its still the case but the old OEM recirc valves were notoriously weak especially after remapping. But, the Forge spacer is just a small flange piece that fits between the original valve and pipework and serves to vent some of the air into the atmosphere, they cost about 50 quid. The BOV scott posted replaces the original valve completely.
