its time to get my first service.....

Can anyone recommend any dealers in NW London - there are plenty but looking for someone I cna trust with my baby!

I've had no issues with Alan Day Volkswagen (Hampstead). Give them all a call though as prices to vary but they should be happy to price match.

My stealer is Citygate Watford (which is actually in Bushey) and have been spot on with me thus far.

Had mine serviced a couple of months back and they sorted all of the recall items out without me even asking. Car was also fully valeted for me and they gave me Golf to thrash for the day

the switch board dont connect you properly they hang up they give you direct line for service which is
0870 number which says leave a mesage and they dont get back to you. you hav to pick up your car before 5.45 because they close at 6 no flexability at all they are on a one way system which is the north circular road for those who no doesnt need an intro for those who dont traffic galore and they no this they hate test driving because they wont get back in time because you no why.and they are expensive becauce there isnt any around in north east london.oh thry do hav a coffee machine hoorray!

I bought my car from Alan Day New Southgate and they were excellent. Recently had my first service and they attended to all the recalls - rusty boot strut bolts and DSG thingy, price £140.00 . Car spotless when I collected. Also had a named contact to deal with who was not on an 0870 number.

I agree about access problems from the North Circ though.

Thats a lot of dosh for hitting a spanner around underneath the car and to change oil and fluids

at last found a dealer that listerns.im not the usual type for complaining but vw inchcape of romford
are servicing my car tomorrow for 190 all in thats 100 pounds cheaper than alan day,included a mini valet
breakfast buffee and while-u-wait service none of this at alan day. hooray!

i use citygate watford, they are friendly, and did a good job, can't really complain. the vallet was what you expect from a bucket a sponge. i mean they didn't even clay the car and apply dodo juice rainforest rub, it's just crazy

£275 seems the going rate for the second service. That's what I paid for 40,000 mile service using the long-life oil. Sheppards of Bishops Stortford nice and efficient
