Sill protectors are on the list as well, passenger has already scuffed part of the sill :x Was hoping for a cooler looking protector though....

If it was the wife i hope divorce in happening...lol.
I think they do 2 sorts , black which lips up and over most of the sill and i've seen a chrome one with scirocco on it, that looks like it's just for display and doesnt protect much. Not sure what to do. :|

Yeah i've seen both VW options, the one that protects the most is a bit lack luster, the others pretty but does bog all to protect the sills.... Will have a tink about it, VW may bring another varient out at some point....

Just spoke to my friend  and have booked the rocc in for friday to have a recal on the gearbox :o , should have been done before i collected it  . Peace of mind knowing he's on the ball and gonna oversee that the jobs done right  . While i'm there we're gonna have a peek at the spares and availibility of the exausts, matts and what ever else is there  .
In the mean time i found this web site showing how to install clear protective sill. Could be a good option as its nice to see the Beautifull and obviously the best colour, rising blue, along the sills when the doors are open. :silent:

Just been out bid on E Bay for the VOLKSWAGEN VW SCIROCCO DOOR SILL DECAL GENUINE NEW. My top bid was £45 and was winning with 10sec to go, lost out £46. I was gutted as they retail £125.

A few hours ago i got an e mail saying "You've been given a second chance to buy VOLKSWAGEN VW SCIROCCO DOOR SILL DECAL GENUINE NEW, which you placed a bid on for 45.0 on 2010-03-11 08:12:04.0".
Also to say "Hi the winning bidder who was from Hong Kong clearly didnt understand English and wasted my time so if you still want the item then its yours".

I looked up the bidding list, if this guy hadn't bid i'd have won them at £39, so offered him £40.

He replied with....wait for it........ Hi I will accept £40. Please note this is only for one side and not the pair.

Thought it's a bit "IFFY" What do you recon?

I was with a friend today who works for VW and i brought or should say ordered the rubber scirocco matts and boot liner which are in the lastest Scirocco brocher along with the sill's, i have left the brocher at home so can't tell you the exact wording but i will later. They are £125(i think thats for 2),

Also, i've been in touch with a friend who runs a signing business and thinks he can sort out some clear sill covers as shown in the little video.http://www.xpel.com/diy_paint_protection/clear_doorsill_guards/
