Don't worry, I'm not into modding. It's staying how it is ...wait until you see that front end at night, not that I'm into car porn but it looks stunning with the xenon lamps and LEDs!
Very impressed with the headlamps after owning the normal GT, not that the GT was a bad car mind!

You lucky lucky b......s  i have to wait till the auto show of lebanon, and thats when they will be getting the first and most probably only Scirocco-r and golf-r. Ontop of it all, it causts around 70000$ without any options :wtf: :wtf: :( Oh by the way i realized that with the scirocco 200ps (or 210), when you skid on water the back wheels start jumping with esp on, if its off you feel like the engine is going to explode. In the Scirocco-r do you also have the same issue or does it handle the water/road issue better?

Back wheels bouncing :wtf:

You must mean the front wheels, I have had this problem, Its caused by the engine movement under acceleration which in turn lifts the load off your wheels therefore leaving them free to bounce..arghh

I fixed this by fitting a Neuspeed engine mount insert, quick easy, cheap MOD..

Good to hear that Spamdog, hopefully it'll be worth the small fortune I spent on it, less than 2 weeks to go, but its really starting to drag now!!

Great looking car Spam... Had a call from my dealer this morning offering my a deal on an R... But I'm still undecided. None the less boys and girls who have the R well done! Excellent choice

With regards to the LED strip light on the R...does anyone know if the unit will be available to buy and would they fit straight onto a GT version with no hassle?

I've seen the lights made by Lulian...just wondering if you can get the pucker VW unit and at what cost?

 Weighing up my options....really fancy these lights for mine!

Just realised there is a thread in the modding section....basically saying the R lights won't work with a standard Scirocco.....Wrong size an No indicators!!!

That car looks great - and the rising blue really suits it.
I still think VW have a cheek calling that 'sports suspension' when it looks more like an off road vehicle! I'm not really into modding cars, but if I had ordered the Scirocco R, I would certainly be lowering that tractor suspension a fair bit.
1000 miles at low RPM's must be hell for the run in period. I'll be doing a hell of a lot of miles in the first week to get them out of the way. It'd normally take me about 2 months to do 1000 miles, but I bet I can do it in under a week
