Spring time preparation

Postby Ian1982 » 01 Mar 2010 18:42

Hope this isn't a stupid question

Can anyone advise if I need to remove all the polish which I applied in the Autumn or do I just wax over the old polish.

We're with Scotty - take it all off and start again. We recommend claying and pre-waxing around once every six months if the car is used daily.

Products will deteriorate after a while, even the most expensive ones, and when they do they tend to dull slightly. Rather than apply wax over the dulled products, it's better to remove them and start afresh again.

Hope this helps
