My current Scirocco won't be repaired until next tuesday so end of next week to the dealers would be perfect as I need to go before I collect it to sort out finance etc, whch I said I'd do the day my car arrives at the dealers...I don't want to tell them about the bump, even though its only minor as they've given me a very decent p/x value and I think they might try and find an excuse to lower it, altough I don't think they can if the repair is done by an approved repairer which it is!!!

I'll be following the Neckar Highways movements closely from tomorrow, I've got the bug for tracking my car, and its quite good fun as sad as I may sound

Shes just leaving Grimsby @18:43 and will sail into an AIS "dead " spot by @20:30 and will re-appear on the north German coast at 05.03.10@11:30ish.

(No guarantees the Sciroccos make this connection or that the ship is coming back to the UK.)

Damn it, I've just spent all day watching the African Highway make it's way very slowly to Emden, now I'm going to end up doing the same with the Neckar Highway!! I'm hooked!

BTW the "dead" spot is an area known as the "Coal Pit" !

So this african highway ship has been and gone from the port emden, so the question is what ship have the Scirocco's been transferred onto now ?????? I need a ship to track, i never thought tracking ships would so addictive lol

I know the feeling, I'm totally hooked! Been on this morning & there are a few ships named ".... Highway" kicking around Emden & the Neckar Highway isn't now too far away. I'm hoping one of these many "...Highway" boats will be the one that picks up our Rocs & brings them UK bound!?!

Ask your dealer which ship's name as you can also add Isar Highway but very much doubt this one. I thought that ship was too close to African Highway arriving. Couldn't see them loading cars onto a ship's manifest that hadn't arrived at Emden!

Ignore the BIG ships like Columbia Highway with draughts of 8 or 9 metres thats in port of Emden right now. They go long distance like USA, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Singapore, China and Japan. Watch the KESS line ships with red hulls/white superstructure.

As I wrote a few posts above, cars off African Highway have lost their connecting slots to the UK. They may get spread across a few ships over the next week or so. Ships to Grimsby sail almost every other day, and also about twice a week to Sheerness. So the backlog won't take long.

Spoke to the dealer today and he told me my Scirocco is on its way from emden in all the excitement forgort to ask him the name of the ship though either way one very happy boy
