If you dont mind me asking mate, where did you get the mirrors and front grill painted and how much did it roughly cost you?

Think I paid between 150 and 200 to get them done. No point in telling you the bodyshop if your not in the north east. I wouldn't recommend them anyway as its not 100% perfect.

I'm torn between getting them sprayed or vinyl wrapped. Vinyl will obviously be cheaper, but paint will last longer.

Not sure how good vinyl is but you will have to paint the plastic grill as vinyl won't stick to it so may as well get them both painted :D

600 seems a lot for grill and door mirrors!

"To strip out front bumper, prep, plastic prime, reflat 1.00 380.00 380.00
and paint to candy white. Strip out mirrors and paint mirror
caps to gloss black. Prep, prime and paint rear bumper lip
and badges to gloss black."

From the quote, going to ring some more later on. Not willing to pay that at all

While your in I'd suggest getting plastic fog surrounds, honeycomb and bump strips done gloss black. I may have sourced a slat grill depending on when the lad breaks his car so when I get that I'm going to get it done gloss black to match my fog surrounds. Going for the oem+ look so will be all black bottom bumper again. Also I'm in the process of selling wheels and new ones are planned once I'm finished furnishing my house. Can't wait for the new look :D

Thanks! Got a very mixed reaction and a lot or strange looks when I had them haha

Porsche lobster claws now sold, unfortunately no new wheels until next year probably unless the ones I'm after come up cheap. Good news is they will be 10" rear and lots of concave goodness! :D

Found out a lad who had built a show car, it's the green Rocco with air ride, rotiforms and partial plaid recaro interior. He was selling off all the modified bits so I jumped in when I seen all parts were for sale and got it for a bargain price. They never ever come up for sale so glad I got it. I thought it would be a proper cast mould but they are just converted t5 grills. Ill put a more in depth thread with a lot of pictures for people planning to make one themselves. Might be able to help with sizes and things.

Yeah mate, I found someone selling it and bought it off them haha so can't do a guide sorry! It's a premade t5 conversion from Germany, the 400 euro one. My mate is planning on making one by using mine for sizes. So when he makes that and if it works ill make a how to guide with sizes and materials used and everything. Ill get some better photos and sizes of it for people though
