Well, the wheels have been refinished in gloss gunmetal with black wheel bolts:

Unfortunately my phone doesn't really do them any justice.

Its been a while since I last updated this thread and since then, the cars undergone quite a transformation. Here's a summary of how the car currently sits:

Engine
- Revo Stage2+,
- Loba HP fuel pump,
- VWR intake,
- Milltek Turbo back exhaust (200 cell) with GT100 tips,

Chassis
- KW DCC coilovers,
- H&R front & rear ARB's,
- Vibratechnics lower engine mount,
- AKS/VagBremTechnic BBK - Brembo 4-pot monobloc caliper, Pagid RS4-2 Blue pads & 362mm 2-peice floating AP racing disks,
- TT wishbones & ball joints,
- Superpro Anti-lift Kit,
- VMR 710's with Micheline Pilot Super Sports,
- AKS geometry set-up,

I think that's most of the major things and here are a couple of photo's of the brake set-up:

I'll no doubt get a few decent photos over the next couple of weeks.

Small update.

Today I've been swapping over the insanely heavy steel hub carriers/uprights to the S3 aluminium variants (-5/6Kg either side):

I'm just waiting on some replacement ball-joints (the ball-joint separator didn't get on with them too well) and it should be back up and running.

Right now, I reckon I've pulled anywhere between 50 - 70Kg's of dead weight out of the car. I'd probably guess that 30Kg's of that is un-sprung (brakes, uprights, dampers, wishbones etc.) and the remaining's from the seats, exhaust and other little mods.

When I can be bothered, I'll get it cleaned up and sort out some half decent photos.
