Hello guys and dolls, I'm Cez and a new scirocco owner.

Picked her up around a month ago and instantly started ordering bits and getting the most from my new vehicle.

The day i picked up the car, i arranged with the company it was purchased from for a map a few days after collection. once i took the car back and re-collected it, i didn't really notice a great difference in the car (and this was a 'copy and paste' map without a printout) so i was sceptical as to the increases. Took the car to a local tuner who stuck her on the rolling road and I got this brutally powerful outcome

The company originally quoted me 360bhp - 420NM. This clearly wasn't the case and I had the car set back to the stock map and my money refunded. I have since booked a map with a different company who will provide an actual live map. She shall be jetted off tomorrow (24th) to be fiddled and made beautiful. I will post power results when i have them.

Anyway, I ordered myself a set of H&R springs which went on a treat and set the car to a much more reasonable stance

Much better, i hope you agree!

Then i ordered a piper cross panel filter and 55mm AirTec Intercooler, this was a fiddle to fit!

And finally I got a Scorpion DeCat Non Resonated Turbo back delivered the other day and fitted. what a difference without those restrictions.

New wheels on. Decided to change to wider wheels as I'm struggling to keep the power to the road.

Front: 19 x 8.5j et42
Rear 19 x 9.5j et38

Fronts need a 10mm spacer to push the wheel inline with the arch the same as the rear, but they completely change the look of the car.
Also, now in need of 255/40/19 rears as the profile is just too thin, and there's a bit too much stretch on the back.
Overall very happy. Clearance on the rear was tight, but perfect

So, I went down to the yorkshire dales with the wife for a weekend away and the car decided to play up. Fanstastic.
Complete loss of boost, pulled over restarted the engine and all of a sudden we're back up and running. Happened 4 times in total over the weekend, and then did 250 without missing a heart beat.Vag-Com plugged up, pulled:

000564 - Boost Pressure regulation
P0234 - 001 - Limit Exceeded (Overboost Condition)

Took her into VW yesterday and was told i need a complete new turbo because my K04 cant handle the mild boost increase from the map. I believe its the N75 and theyre trying to get a few more pennies out of me!

Back to the mappers i go to see if they can confirm my suspicions

Wish me luck
