Coming home lights

Post12 Oct 2009 22:03

My DRL's have been switched off since i got the car 6 months ago (its an 08, so one of the very early ones), i have noticed that my coming home lights don't work, even though they are switched on in the MFD. The leaving home lights work fine. Any ideas? Anybody who has had there DRL's turned off noticed this?

Have you tried flashing your lights before you open the door?

Can never remember which are which - but when you get out of your car at night your lights won't come on unless you flick your main beam switch first.
They will automatically come on when you unlock the car though.
All assuming you do have your lights set in Auto mode of course.

Yup its crazy thing to activate them but a quick flash of main beam then pull open the door and they should come on.

Do they? :?:

Ah okay, i know that on the Leon they are automatic, but that leads to people saying "excuse me i think you left your lights on" as you are walking away.
