The 2.5% reduction in VAT accounced today doesnt seem like much but makes a difference when your talking about cars.

Say a £25k rocco once speced, thats £625 in your pocket.

If you've placed your order and picking up your car after Monday, hopefully the dealer will honour the discount?

even if they don't you could reclaim the vat off the invoice because it would show that you paid 17.5%. If it doesn't then complain. Unless they have new price lists which state that VW is going to absorb the VAT into profit then they don't have a leg to stand on.

We will be passing all VAT savings onto our customers.
