Just wandered if anybody knew what the real BHP for these beasts is as ive heard that although claimed 200 PS its actually more than that? I read that EVO also did a 0-60 in 6.2 rather than the claimed 7.2 which is more than VW are quoting for the (disappointing) R version!

yea i heard on tyre smoke forum that the 2 litre tsi has more like 220 bhp, and yea most people are getting 0-60 times of 6.5, so the figures seem to be a little underestimated, but i don't know for sure

I saw that 0-60 time in Evo too. Also, the pdf on the Superchips website shows an original pre-modified max of 217bhp:

It appears that VWs figures are on the conservative side....

its 7.2 secs to 62mph not 60 but yeah i'd agree i think it would still com in under the claimed vw time
