Can anyone help i had a mark 5 golf and when you knocked the ESP off on the center console the button illuminated and showed flashing on the dash , on the scirocco it only flashes on the dash and the button dose not illuminate when pressed i now its only a little thing but dose anyone have any info?

Yes that's the way it works on the Roc. It's not broken.
It is daft though. They should have made it so the button lights up too.
