Any1 else av a problem with the fan? its happened 4times since 2nd March when i got him! I drive say 5miles from work home and I can smell BURNING... thn when i get home the Fan is going like MAD and doesnt seem to turn off untill i put the key back in turn him on then off n it goes off!!!! Not good but hes going into VW in the morning so prob b crusing round in a Yellow Fox courtesy car or something pants 2moz hope hes not there long!!

bring it into the garage its a fault with vw

Took it to the garage they cudnt find a fault with him?!?!? they tightened something up from the engine which they said cud b the burning but im SOOO not conviced!! If that was the case it would happen all the time not just these 4 times!!
Turbo...any advise plz?

Sounds a bit strange to me. Maybe you should take it to another dealer for a 2nd opinion??

jesus i remember seen on the computer at work about that prob but could b wrong i know its a fault on some vws especially caddys the fans have 2 b replaced
