Aloha!

My car has 17" Spa alloys and the gap in the arches it quite high. I'm thinking about sticking 35mm H&R springs on there and possibly 18" RS6 style alloys. I quite like the Spa alloys though and was wondering if anyone else had lowered their car with 17" alloys on it rather than 18" wheels.

Any feedback in terms of how it looks, ride height and difference to the ride itself (i.e. how much more firmer it is etc) would be much appreciated. Also if anyone has any pictures of one lowered with 17s would be magic.

No replies? Bugger it. I've ordered the springs. If I don't like the look with the Spa alloys I'll take the plunge and order a set of RS6 reps.

Good man! Sure you only live once! I love the RS6 alloys, and if I could have got a "staggered" set for the roc I would definetely have gone for them. As for the H&R springs, as you have probably read I went for the eibach instead as the lowered it just that few mm's less. From a practicality point of view thats why I went for them.
