Hi everyone! My story starts when I went with my daughter Angela last week to buy her new car, a "Scirocco", well I hadn't heard that name since the 70's, are you sure its a "Scirocco" love? Yes Dad c'mon get in the car!
When I seen the car she was so certain she wanted, I fell in love with it myself! She bought a black 2.0ltr diesel but had to wait untill Sept for delivery.
Over the next few days, I couldn't stop thinking about the black Scirocco GT STI in the showroom so I went back to the VW dealer and bought it! (I cant wait to pick it up on Tues) I then went home and cancelled the Astra SRI I had on order, I know, never mind eh!

So, I'm not in my daughters best books coz I'm gona have my "Rocco" before she gets her's, women eh!......

Lol good decision mate and you will not regret it! I pick up mine on Weds 27th (spec below) and I can't wait either. My mother and wife have been ripping into me for acting like a teenager with his first car because I can't contain my excitement!

You will not even think about the other car you had on order (don't even want to mention the other choice!)

The only reason i bought myself a Rocco - Was not only is it the sexyest car i ever did see... But i havn't seen any of them on the road yet... Then for the 1st time in my life i go and buy myself a brand spanker - the my Dad goes and gets one too!!

Not only does he get a faster model... For less money... Sooner than i get mine - But he buys the same blinkin colour too!!! Grrrrr.... Now everyone in the village will see me in my sexy Rocco (from September) they will be saying ohhhh look at Angie in her dads car!!!! I'm wounded...

Am i being stoopid on this one??? Or would any of you lot be gutted about this too??? Your feedback is welcome...

Angie I feel for you, I would be gutted, the same colour is a bit of a kick in the teeth, but look on the bright side, it gives you carte blanche to mod the hell out of your roc to differentiate it!! Get the sidestrips sprayed, mad alloys, spray your badges, get a set of springs, possibly a bodykit and an exhaust. Then you will be Nosbod's daughter in her mad pimped out roc, that looks a little bit like her dads!!

Haha NOooo i didnt cancel my order!! But i took your advice... I've gone for the candy white instead!! Which 2 weeks ago was totally against everything ive ever stood for!! But since i got to wait till sep for delivery, ive had to make do we dribblin over photos & books etc & the white has grown on me some what... Roll on September i tell thee >;o] x
