Hi all,

Picked up my roc on Wednesday 27/5 and everything been excellent except I have encountered one problem today whilst driving back from a 70 mile round trip.

The navigation function that shows on the MFD screen along side "settings", "phone" the "trip information"etc has suddenly disappeared. As i toggle through on the MFD menus the navigation screen does not show up. For those of you with navigation this is the screen which would show just a compass direction the car is travelling in and the name of the road/street you are on when you are not using the navigation. When you are using the navigation it shows the route guidance information such as the distance to next turn etc.

I have spent a full 30 minutes in the car when I got home trying to sort it out but I can't get it to come back.

Any ideas guys? anybody come across this? The navigation on the centre console works fine its just the part on the MFD screen thats disappeared?

If i dont get any head way on this over the next couple of days reluctantly its back to dealer!

Take it back to VW, It's garbage.

I have the nav unit and it goes faulty all the time.

Just one of the problems that is the basis for me trying to reject the car!

Thankfully i won't have to reject the roc! Went out this morning and problem was gone, sat nav option back up and running as normal on the MDF. Must have been some sort of blip. Lets hope it stays that way.

Apart from this minor blip everything works pretty much to satisfaction. Considering I have specced the car almost 100% of the options available I am happy with this!

I havent has the same problem as you but many others like it with the Sat Nav.

The problems / blips come and they go then they come back again. Not what you would expect from a £1200 option.
