My black rocco finally arrived! (pic heavy)

I finally picked up my rocco yesterday after four months of waiting! :D

Have driven him a litte bit, and are very satisfied so far. Both headlights and taillights get a bit of condensation inside them, but that's normal as I understand..

I took some pics in a hurry while still light outside. Car became dirty after about 5 mins of driving in this weather, so it'll have to be "dirty"-pics :)

Coming along nicely
Yeah, it's going in the right direction. Next week the new Scirocco R roof spoiler is fitted by the dealer as well.

Looking really good. I like the tints! Makes a big difference.

How are those tail lights working out? No problems with them?

Thanks!
Tail lights are working out great so far, no dead leds :)

Kenti: I think A4gee means it would've probably been cheaper to buy a stock "R" than buy and heavily modify a 1.4TSI.

Maybe it's not cheaper to do that. Am I right in thinking that the ridiculous new car tax that almost doubles the price (compared to most of non-Scandinavian Europe) applies to the basic car price only and not options/accessories etc?

How did you shorten the gearstick? I find the stock stick is ridiculously long on the Roc.

Unfortunately it will be far more expensive to buy a stock "R" here in Norway compared to both fully specced 1.4/2.0. That's due to the crazy new car tax. A stock "R" will be £73.002,91 here...

Haven't done anything. It came like that from the factory :)

Thanks mate! The shots was made with a (cheap) Canon 400D dslr camera using Sigma EX 10-20mm and Canon 50mm for these.

It`ll be a slr of sorts with varied lenses/covers.

I can see you not getting a R but why not a 2ltr TSI and then modifying that?
Is it running costs of a higher co2 car where you live?
See previous post regarding the new price taxes here. A stock 2.0L TSI is still £12.830,54 more expensive than a stock 1.4 160 TSI here, believe it or not

It can't be long before the standard scirocco gets proper LED DRL's like the R etc. I have a feeling they will incorporate them with a facelift though, its been almost 3 years since the scirocco was released so it muct be due one soon.
Maybe, sort of agree as well. However with very limited changes for my2012 I think they`ll be waiting to upgrade them for the mk4 (due 2014?) so will see that version sometime in 2013 I`d imagine.
They did put led`s in my2012 but only for number plate lights
It`ll have to happen at somepoint though as most manufactures have them now.
