Today I washed my winter wheels so they are clean before storing them until winther arrives again.

Rinsed with water after a round of Bilberry and cheapo degreaser. Still some grit left as you can see.

And here after I used Grime Reaper degreaser + misc brushes. Turned of quite good.

Now I only have to wax them with Chemical Guys Wheel Guard.

Yesterday I got a new exhaust fitted. It's a 2.0L exhaust from a pal's Scirocco that's about 2-3 weeks old.

We thought that the 1.4L and 2.0L exhausts was the same, with the only difference beeing the chrome tail pipes. That was not the case, the 2.0L exhaust has another silencer and larger tubes as well.

The result: deeper and louder roar

Yep, it's OEM 2.0 TSI exhaust from a MY11 Scirocco. It was delivered in march i think. It's not modified.

I'm sure they are all slightly staggered, but it's just emphasised by the angle of the picture?

The first picture is taken from the side of the car. What you see is how staggered they are. It would have looked weird if they were not staggered due to the curves of the diffusor and bumper. When you look at the tail pipes from above you can see that they follow the lines of the bumper. If they'd been the same length one of them would have poked more than the other

It'll just be me, i have never noticed and i polish my pipes regular (no sniggering at the back).

Tinted the front side windows today, which made a huge difference I think! Same tint as original.

Yea they all are, its to slightly follow the curve of the bumper from above :thumbup:

Yeah, it's going in the right direction. Next week the new Scirocco R roof spoiler is fitted by the dealer as well.
